Oh...I forgot to say it's a beautiful sunny blue sky day with temps hovering
just around freezing (32*F/  0*C ) give or take a degree or so.  With those
temps and the intense sunshine there's a tiny bit of melt going on but these
4 foot piles of snow aren't going anywhere for quite a while.

We went back out today for 3 or  4 hours to finish clearing the additional
6 or 7 inches of snow that fell after we quit working yesterday.  If you get out
early while the sun's bright, then the residual snow that's left after shoveling
on the deck, driveway and sidewalks has the chance to melt in the sun and then
dry before it can turn to ice.  Sooo, we have all that cleaned up but the lane itself
hasn't been cleared yet.
