And this website shows you the current day/night map. The area that's shaded the darkest is 100% night. The other shades are the various twilights. 

It's cool how even the North Pole is not in total darkness. People say it's night 6 months a year, but it's not. After the autumn equinox, because the earth is a sphere, light gets up and over the top of the earth to the North Pole, right now it's in 24 hour astronomical twilight. It's not until long after the equinox that the North Pole is tilted far enough from the sun to be in total darkness. 

And you can see the map on various dates. On the Equinox both the north and South Pole have 24 hour daylight. Which makes sense cause if the earth is face the sun straight on, while it spins both the polls will never be facing away from the sun.
