Ha..I know..they do the same here.  Even when they first arrive they fly up and hover in front
of the bow window that overlooks the deck and gardens.  Lucky you that you have them year-
round.  They usually get here about the third week of April and I don't take the feeders down
until I've seen the last of them in October.
