We lose power quite a bit.  Everyone is prepared for the power outages.  And the snow shovelling mostly I don't mind it.  The worst power outage we had was 3 days.  That one kind of sucked.

Yeah, I really don't much mind shovelling either, especially if you can get started on it before it gets too deep.  Then I kind of enjoy it...it's good exercise, too.   So far this winter we haven't had a lot of snow but January and February are usually our biggest snow months.  The first winter we moved to where we are now, we got about 2 and half feet of snow the first week.  LOL, it was thigh deep until we shovelled then the driveway and sidewalks looked like tunnels.
