Um, right now as we speak it is 42 degrees below zero in Tok Alaska, where my son stopped for the night,

plugged his engine heater in, and slept in the front seat.

Dear God I raised a complete retard. My wife was doing back flips last night trying to convince him to get a room.

A few winters back he'd take ski trips to Girdwood.... dig a snow cave.. throw a tarp down and call it home.

One morning, he had the opening sealed up(makes it warmer, and as this lady walked past with her dog

he broke his way out of the cave... she was a bit stunned..

Anyway, the car started(no transmission heater, I was worried)..and tonight will be his coldest night, then he heads south

only 6 hours of daylight to drive in per day..BUT.. full moon makes it pretty light.
